Common Questions

Before You Book an Inspection

How fast can you turn around an inspection report?

Verbal results are usually same-day. Written reports are typically next-day, sometimes faster if escrow needs it.

Will I get a written report?

Yes. The $95 inspection includes a detailed written report you can hand to escrow or your lender.

Do I need both an inspection and a pump?

Often yes. Real estate inspections usually require the tank pumped first so the inspector can see the baffles and tank interior. We can do both in one visit.

My buyer's inspector flagged the septic. Can you do a second opinion?

Absolutely. Second opinions for sellers in escrow are something we do regularly. We give you the straight read either way.

What's the difference between an inspection and a camera inspection?

An inspection covers the tank, baffles, and visible system condition. A camera inspection sends a camera down the drain lines and leach field to scope underground problems.

Can you inspect a system without pumping it?

Yes, but for real estate transactions most inspectors want the tank pumped so the interior is visible. For non-escrow peace of mind, a no-pump inspection is fine.
